In almost every single Canadian gift shop you have those stupid “Canadian maple syrup cookies.” 14.99+ GST (Canadian Goods/Service Tax) the sign screams at you. What a great deal! Well sorta…
Except the fact that I can find better tasting cookies at the corner 97.5 cents store back home. But that’s besides the point.
I have my eyes set on the big stuff. Ya, that luxurious fur carpet which I presume is made of an actual real dead animal.

But alas, my dreams are crushed as I approached it, revealing the 4 digit price tag.

For those who don’t know what I am talking about when referring to the “stupid Canadian maple syrup cookie.” Do Canadians actually eat this stuff?

If it wasn’t made clear enough. I didn’t buy the fur rug.
I love animals. *Look speciously to the left and right*

Sometimes, you know something is bad for you and you just shouldn’t do it. What do you do? You do it of course…

That was exactly the case when I took my first bite into this calorie packed, hospital sending, healthy hearty seafood pasta.  It was so good it was bad, but that didn’t seem to matter much  after the second bite though.

Got back from Costco with a bunch of goodies and this tender pork rib smothered in juicy BBQ. Pre-made food from Costco is great if you’re tired and possibly lazy. Just bring it home and you’re ready to eat. If I must comment on the taste, it was actually quite good.

Went out to get some deep dish pizza with friends.

The green chilies, chicken,and diced tomatoes makes every bite as juicy as possible. Whats even better is sharing it with my good friends. One claimed it to be the “best pizza he ever had in his life.”

Potato Skin starters were also tasty as hell.

Yes…I know the pictures are really blurry. Please understand that it was really dark in the restaurant. I’m surprised I walked out with both eyes in tact. Surely I would have taken out an eye if it was a tad more dark.

Was cravin’ for some passion fruit tea so I got some.

Chinese tea houses usually pack their drinks in these plastic cups.

I’ve been drinking this for years but never have I seen a passion fruit. Have you?

Hungry? Have a steamed bun (man tou) or pineapple bun (bo lo bao.)

Wait a minute… they’re actually imitations!

A friend who recently returned from China showed me these buns as a joke.
It turns out that they are actually key-chains.

I would have been fooled had the keychain part been taken off. The texture is soft and even have the real bun scent.

Leave it to China to create realistic imitations…Rolls Royces…eggs…you name it, they probably have them…

Just grabbing a bite before shopping.

First time I’ve tried Mediterranean food. Chicken and beef skewers along a side of rice and bread. The grilled tomato was pretty juicy though the beef tastes like any regular hamburger meat.

Just got back from the store with this Sony A300.

Pamphlets, manuals, and other paper work. The small manual barely helped at all, though.
