Burger and Onion Rings
The portions were undoubtedly enormous.
With the high ratings of some friends, I had pretty high hopes for this meal but it just didn’t satisfy. It must have been a psychological effect though.
You know that feeling when you think something is going to be really great but you end getting slammed in the face hard by cold hearted reality. I guess this was probably one of those times. [See more...]

Beef
Winter is finally here and what better way to get warm and cozy than eating some steaming hot meat.
The Japanese call it Shabu Shabu, which is cooking (what is usually thin slices of meats) in a pot placed at the center of a table for everyone to share. It is delicious and above all, easy to prepare! [See more...]

Elephants
The circus is in town…And being the kid that I am, I am (what you can say) “overwhelmed with joy.”  Where else can you see lions, elephants, and oh so many clowns all in one place? [See more...]

Seafood Pasta
Sometimes, you know something is bad for you and you just shouldn’t do it. What do you do? You do it of course…

That was exactly the case when I took my first bite into this calorie packed, hospital sending, healthy hearty seafood pasta.  It was so good it was bad, but that didn’t seem to matter much  after the second bite though.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to a friend’s Chinese BBQ recently. What in the name of all things Holy is Chinese BBQ you may ask? Gravity Hill

Denali Park
Supposedly, there is a place where up is down and down is up. The laws of physics doesn’t apply at Gravity Hill, Altadena.  After hearing about it, a friend and I can’t help but investigate/go there for a cheap thrill.

The legend goes that not too long ago some school kids in a school bus were on the way to school when they were horrifically killed in an accident. So in order to prevent you from facing the same fate, these school children came back as ghosts to push you up the hill to “save” you.  Now, every time you come here your car will roll up the hill instead of down. (when you’re gear is set to neutral) [See more...]

Denali National Park

Denali Park
I take lots of photos, and the reality is only about 10% of all the photos taken are actually used. Kind of wasteful don’t you think? So…give way to a new series… “Photo.” Basically, posts in this category will only have photos…That’s the idea anyways. So unless a shot is so out of this world that it puts everyone in confusion, these posts will have no captions at all. I guess sometimes it is whats not said that may be more meaningful than what is actually said.

Just enjoy the shots. [See more...]
