Spent the weekend at San Pedro. California is full of beaches, each with its own “personality.”

Went early to see the Korean friendship bell.

I was pretty tempted to go in and knock on it but the caution tape got the best of me.

These two statues guard the entrance. Despite knowing these Chinese words, I don’t really understand what they mean. At the risk of butchering it up horribly, I won’t try here.

Got some chicken and rice for lunch.

After lunch, we went to the beachfront.

Some kids sitting on a rock.

Went to Port O’ Call next. The theme of the buildings make it seem like I just took a step into asia.

Seafood restaurants are everywhere. My wallet told me to stay away though.

Another seafood restaurant.

This place is usually packed on weekends. People singing…dancing…its awesome.

The fresh seafood is also great.

You can try your luck at winning a lobster on the claw machine if you got a buck to spare. I thought they only exist in Japan but I guess I was wrong.

Grab a smoke?

This place also gives me a feeling of being in a small village.

Went to look at the ships.

This will do. Maybe in a few years…or maybe a few more years on top of that.

Finish the night with mushroom pasta for dinner.
